Design Trends from Las Vegas Summer Market 2025
Twice a year, designers from around the world gather at the Las Vegas Market to preview the latest in furniture, home décor, and design. Featuring over 3,500 brands across four buildings, the space is an inspiration hot zone. This summer, our Director of Interior Design and our design partners at Elements of Carmel spent a full day on the ground, meeting vendors, scouting new lines, and collecting insights to bring back to their clients and us at Lewis Builders. Here are some of the key 2025-2026 design trends they saw rising to prominence.
Outdoor Living is Here to Stay
Outdoor furniture dominated the show. Many exhibitors focused on open-air living, mirroring what Lewis Builders already sees in client demand. Especially in California, easy indoor-outdoor transitions have become a top priority for home design.
A Shift Towards Warmth: Textures and Palettes
Color palettes turned noticeably warmer this season. While neutrals remain strong, tones like camel brown and rosemary green appeared across many collections, especially in luxurious materials like velvet and leather. Last year’s cooler grays and smooth finishes gave way to richer textures: bouclé, mohair, and textured weaves added dimension to everything from sofas to accent chairs.
Designers also saw more emphasis on earthy, tactile materials – marble, stone, wood, and concrete. Finishes were heavy and grounded, often in oversized, organic forms. The return of the bar cart was another fun surprise; nearly every showroom featured one! Other standout elements included groupings of cocktail tables instead of single centerpieces, funky chairs, and velvet paired with round, furry pillows.
The prevailing aesthetic channeled modern deco; one designer called the whole vibe “Mad Men-style.” Clean architectural lines borrowed from mid-century interior design, updated with modern finishes and layered fabrics. The intentional moodiness of these collections read as both classic and distinctly current.
